Krampouz Tibos Electric Crepe Maker Review

There’s nothing better than homemade crepes. Unfortunately, though, I’ve never had a lot of success in making them myself. Still, though, I kept searching for a better way to make a good crepe in my own kitchen, and as luck would have it, I stumbled upon the 13-inch Krampouz Tibos Electric Crepe Maker. This crepe making gadget promised to make it simple to create delicious crepes at home. But I wasn’t sure if it was on the level or just another hyped-up kitchen gadget. So I decided to do some research on this model, and have put it all together for you here in this 13-inch Krampouz Tibos Electric Crepe Maker review.

The Cooking Surface

The 13-inch Krampouz Tibos Electric Crepe Maker comes with quite a few little accessories and tools to make crepe making easier. But I wanted to get right to the heart of the matter and see what makes this cooking appliance tick. When it comes to making crepes, you need a very flat, very hot surface – period. And the 13-inch Krampouz Tibos Electric Crepe Maker actually delivers both.

The cooking surface is 13 inches in diameter. It is as flat and smooth as you could want and gets very, very hot. Of course, you can select from different heating levels, but each one gets plenty hot enough to make a great crepe. If you wait until the unit is completely heated up, it only takes about 30 seconds to cook your favorite crepe recipe on this crepe maker.

Features & Product Details

  • Built with a 13-inch diameter, very flat, very smooth, non-stick cooking surface.
  • Comes with a wooden crepe turner, cleaning brush and a scraper.
  • The indicator light tells you when the crepe maker is fully heated and ready for action.
  • Easy to adjust temperature levels.

Crepe Maker = Good – Accessories = Not so Much…

I mentioned the crepe making accessories that come with the 13-inch Krampouz Tibos Electric Crepe Maker earlier. So that you know – they really aren’t that great. The spatula is a bit on the short side, and the scraper isn’t exactly high quality. Overall, the accessories work well enough, but serious cooks will probably want to use their own utensils, as the ones included with this crepe maker aren’t anything to write home about.
